Air India domestic operations normal
May 16, 2012
Air India is continuing to maintain normal operations of its domestic services. There is no effect on Air India’s domestic operations due to the present agitation by a section of the pilots belonging to the IPG.
Air India has maintained an average on time performance of more than 70 per cent yesterday, May 15, 2012. The airline operated 384 flights to various destinations in its network.
To minimize the inconvenience to its international passengers, Air India, had announced a contingency schedule for its international operations for the period May 16 to May 20, 2012 under which it will be operating daily return services with Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft on the Delhi-Paris-New York, Delhi-Frankfurt-Chicago and Delhi-London sectors.
UPDATE
Three pilots who had earlier reported sick have joined back for duties.
Passengers are advised to contact Air India helpline 1800 180 1407 or log on to
