Taxes, Fees and charges are imposed on air transportation by government authorities. Taxes and Fees are subject to change at the discretion of each country's government and may be adjusted for inflation and/or currency fluctuation. You may also be required to pay taxes, Fees and charges not already collected.

In addition to Air India fares, following Taxes, Fees and Charge will be collected on Air India tickets, primarily for domestic travel;

1) Passenger Service Fees WO Airport Authority of India (AAI) and private airports at Mumbai, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Benguluru and Kochi. To cover Security and Facilitation at all AAI airports and Private airports
2) User Development Fees IN AAI and Private airports at New Delhi, Hyderabad and Benguluru To fund passenger facilitation at select airports, levied by airports
3) Development Fees YM Mumbai International Airport Ltd & Delhi International Airport Ltd. To bridge the funding gap for infrastructure development at Mumbai and New Delhi airports.
4) Service Tax JN Central Board of Excise and Customs, Central Government
Service Tax on transportation by air (journeys starting in India).
5) Fuel Surcharge YQ Accrued to the airline Airline fuel surcharge
6) Carrier Imposed Misc Fees YR Accrued to the airline Airline charge, accrued to the airline.
7) Transaction Fees OC Travel Agents Proposed Fees levied by Travel Agents in India to claim remuneration from their clients. Valid from 16 Jul 2012 to 15 Jul 2013.

For international journeys, in addition to above, taxes and charges applicable at international destinations will be applicable.

Air India does not charge any other Fees such as convenience Fees or printout charges from passengers.
